Up to 180 litres per hour of purified DRINKING water |
| Home |
When water is not safe for drinking, water must be process by filter and UV. The Solution: The UV9-1 can process up to 180 litres of drinkable water per hour. This is more than enough for all the family. The UV9-1 is a UV processor combined with a carbon activated filter. The Result: With a flow rate of 180 litres per hour, all your needs for drinkable water are easily covered. |

Many people think that unsafe water will be drinkable after filtering. This is wrong and can be dangerous. Filters are necessary to trap sediments and particles but they cannot stop or destroy the micro-organisms such as bacteria and viruses. In fact, using only filters can even be dangerous; micro-organisms can reproduce inside the filters making the water more dangerous to drink. Micro-organisms can only be destroyed by chemicals, ozone or ultra-violet rays. Chemicals give a bad test to water and do not necessarily destroy all viruses (not to forget secondary effects). Ozone dosage is difficult to ascertain and can be dangerous at high level. UV is the best option. Laboratory tests have proven that micro-organisms irradiated by UV cannot reproduce anymore since their DNA has been modified The advantage of UV in purification is that a very short exposure by micro-organisms is enough to destroy them (few millisecond) but over exposure has no damaging effects (except for the micro-organisms) on the water and doesn't change the taste and qualities of water.

| Introducing the solution: The UV9-1 |

|
The UV9-1 is easily installed in the kitchen. It is connectable to a kitchen tap linked by a flexible pipe. The output can easily fill up a bottle or a small container. The water supplied is absolutely safe to drink. The UV9-1 is cost effective and the power consumption is less than a 20 watt fluorescent lamp. Over one year, the running cost is less than what you would pay for one large bottle of mineral water per day.
